The blade mounting portion has a front end portion where an inverted tapered hole complementary to an inclined shape surface formed on a tang of the blade is formed. The tool mounting portion is provided with a through hole perpendicular to the center axis and a center hole that reaches a through hole from a front side end surface of the tool mounting portion along the center axis.

The correct placement and installation of a door closer presents an arduous challenge for an installer who is often faced with uneven surfaces upon an active construction site. The related art relies upon the use of plumb bobs attached to upper door frame components and measuring implements placed upon ground surfaces. The task is so difficult that special training is required and specialist in the art are often employed install door closers. The presently disclosed embodiments comprise a jig system allowing for one or two door closers to be correctly positioned without the use of external or hand held measuring implements. An optional laser mounting system vitiates the need to attach lasers to door closer spindles.

    Abstract: A miniature impact tool in which a cam and cam follower assembly is utilized for moving a striker backward by converting rotary motion of a drive shaft to a linear motion. On further rotation the cam surface is cut away and spring action drives the striker forward, causing impact of a cutting tool (chisel) against a workpiece. To minimize damage to the cam and cam follower when the tool is over speeded, an elastomeric cam or a cushioning coating or sleeve prevents adverse contact (such as metal-to-metal contact) between the cam and cam follower.

    Abstract: A pneumatic scraping tool includes a pneumatic hammer assembly including a cylinder in which a piston reciprocates for repeated impact against an anvil or blade holder which is rotatably received within an end of the cylinder and carries a scraping blade. The anvil has an annular flange which stops its insertion in the cylinder, and is retained in place by a nut threadedly engaged with the cylinder and having an end wall spaced from the cylinder end a distance slightly greater than the flange thickness to permit reciprocation of the anvil. Exhaust air passes along a groove in the outer surface of the cylinder to an annular chamber in the nut and thence through four exhaust ports exiting at the end wall of the nut. A plug portion of the anvil projects through a central opening in the nut end wall and is received into a socket in a blade housing. Blade fingers project laterally into the socket.
