  • Patent number: 11043094
Abstract: An intelligent entrance detection system is provided where, primarily, any authorized or unauthorized entry to an area of a residential (or small industrial) unit covered by a wireless network is automatically detected from active off-the-shelf devices in that area. After the detection, an identification algorithm is employed to verify if this entry is a legal or illegal action. Based on this verification, either the routine smart home system is activated or a hazardous monitoring period begins to further investigate the suspicious event. If the illegal entrance is confirmed during the hazardous monitoring period, the owner of the property is informed through an intruder alarm protocol. In this invention, all of the analytic and processing steps, including entrance detection, owner identification, and device-free authority verification are designed based on monitoring and quantification of changes in surrounding wireless signals originated by human or object movements within the sensing area.

  • Patent number: 10182331
Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a terminal device and an early warning method for the terminal device. The method includes: a terminal starts a global positioning system (GPS) positioning to acquire current geographical location information in real time, and matches the current geographical location information with geographical location information of a set region in a service area of a base station to which the terminal belongs; if a matching result is that the terminal has left the set region of the base station to which the terminal belongs, the terminal performs an early warning operation. The terminal device includes a matching unit and an early warning processing unit.

  • Patent number: 10178446
Abstract: A local network call handling device is configured to establish multiple concurrent call sessions between local network end devices and an external network. When a prioritized end device attempts to establish a call session, the call handling device may initially determine if a first call session identifier is available. If so, the call session can be established using that first identifier. If the first identifier is in use for a call session of another end device, the call handling device may either use a different call session identifier for the prioritized end device session or may drop a pre-existing call session to free an identifier for use in connection with the prioritized end device.

  • Patent number: 10165320
Abstract: A communication medium with fewer limitations on the directivity or available communication range, such as an IP network, is used to perform a remote control operation. Since two-way communication can be carried out between a remote controller and a device to be operated, it is possible to provide more reliable communication by means of a delivery confirmation, to handle a GUI-based complex command scheme, and to provide large-volume data transmission, such as moving-image streaming, using relatively broad bands. A television receiver to be operated by the remote controller distributes moving-image data, such as a child view, to an IP remote controller through an IP network so that the data can be viewed on the IP remote controller.
