Abstract: A system includes a core temperature probe and a microwave cooking device. The core temperature probe includes a temperature sensor to determine a temperature information, a coaxial line including a lambda/4 line resonance element adjusted to a microwave frequency, and a signal transmission antenna connected to the temperature sensor via the coaxial line and adapted to emit the temperature information at a signal transmission frequency that differs from the microwave frequency. The system is hereby constructed to transmit a signal at the signal transmission frequency wirelessly between the signal transmission antenna of the core temperature probe and a signal transmission antenna of the microwave cooking appliance.
Abstract: A sensor unit disclosed herein is a temperature sensor unit to be attached to an energy storage device. The temperature sensor unit includes an FPC to be positioned on an energy storage device body, a temperature sensor connected to a detection line of the FPC, a housing disposed on the FPC and covering the temperature sensor, and a biasing member elastically and deformably held in the housing and configured to bias the lower housing of the housing toward the energy storage device body by elastic restoring force to bring the temperature sensor into contact with the energy storage device body with the FPC therebetween.

Abstract: The present invention provides a subsea apparatus for testing a hydraulic signature which has a fluid supply, a first pressure line coupled to the fluid supply, a second pressure line coupled to the fluid supply; and a pressure recording device operatively coupled to both the first pressure line and the second pressure line. A pressure recording device is capable of storing pre-determined pressure data representative of said pressure lines. The first pressure line functions at a lower pressure than the second pressure line while a pressure recording device records data to allow comparison of actual pressure data on the first and second pressure lines with said stored data.

Abstract: A securing structure for securing a measuring member having a sensor element and a lead elongated from the sensor element to a subject to be measured, the securing structure includes the measuring member including a measuring section having a covered portion in which a part of the lead elongated from the sensor element and having a predetermined length is covered by a material having a rigidity larger than that of the lead, the covered portion being folded toward the side of the lead elongated from the covered portion to produce a folded end portion; and the subject to be measured having an insertion section through which the measuring section is inserted from the side of the folded end portion, a container section which contains the measuring section inserted through the insertion section, and a contact section with which the head portion of the covered portion comes into contact and by which the measuring section is prevented from falling out, when the lead is pulled.
Abstract: A wireless temperature sensor for use in monitoring the temperature of a fluid or gas in a mixing vessel. The wireless temperature sensor comprises a temperature probe for contacting the fluid or gas and generating a signal based on the gas/fluid temperature; a temperature reader for receiving the signal generated by the temperature probe and determining therefrom a temperature reading of the fluid or gas; and a radio frequency (RF) transceiver for transmitting the temperature reading determined by the temperature reader to a control apparatus external to the mixing vessel.
