  • Patent number: 11997149
Abstract: A conference system enables a real-time communication session between two or more participants. During the real-time communication session, a participant device requests to transfer the real-time communication session to a device in which an identity of the device is unknown. The participant device displays a visual code that is scanned by the device in which the identity is unknown. Based on the scan of the visual code, the conference system transfers the real-time communication session such that it is continued between the device in which the identity is unknown and the one or more devices of the remaining participants of the conference.

Abstract: A method performed by a PGW for handling a UEs access to an EPC service via a non-3GPP access network. During a request for connecting the UE to the non-3GPP access network, the PGW receives identity information which indicates an identity of an AAA node from a non-3GPP access gateway. The PGW selects the AAA node which was indicated in the received identity information. The PGW transmits, to the selected AAA node, a request message for the UE. The request message is a request for authorization of the UE to access the EPC service via the non-3GPP access network.

  • Patent number: 11997177
Abstract: Clusters of users of networked services are defined based on tasks performed by such users during such networked services. Activities of the users during sessions of the networked services are tracked, and representations of such users or such activities are used to train a model to predict activities of users in the future, including but not limited to services utilized by such users, or pages visited by such users. Subsequently, when a user accesses a networked service during a session, activities of the user may be determined, and a representation of the session is provided as an input to the model, along with contextual information such as an identifier of the persona of the user. A next action, e.g., a service or a page utilized by the user, may be predicted based on outputs received from the model.

  • Patent number: 11977451
Abstract: Described is a system (and method) for application-based packing for storing backup data within an object storage. More particularly, the system may efficiently pack backup files into objects having a specialized size by accounting for the source and size of the backup file. For example, the system may determine whether backup files associated with a particular application may be stored within individual objects or packed together within a shared object. Accordingly, by accounting for such criteria the system may perform an intelligent allocation of backup data within a cloud-based object storage. The system may be implemented as part of an incremental backup infrastructure. Accordingly, when allocating the backup files amongst objects, the system may also store specialized metadata to preserve the ability to perform a reconstruction of data (e.g. synthetically) as if a full backup was performed.

Abstract: Network scheduling in unlicensed spectrums is described. A scheduler can assess, at a first time, first conditions of an unlicensed spectrum, such as Long-Term Evolution unlicensed spectrum. Based at least partly on the first conditions, the scheduler can determine a schedule for transmitting data via the unlicensed spectrum. The scheduler can, for a first period of time, facilitate transmission of data between mobile devices that are communicatively coupled to the communication tower based at least partly on the schedule. At a second time after the first time, the scheduler can assess second conditions of the unlicensed spectrum and update the schedule based at least partly on the second conditions to generate an updated schedule. For a second period of time, the scheduler can facilitate transmission of data between the mobile devices based at least in part on the updated schedule.

  • Patent number: 11966879
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to the sharing of synchronization information corresponding to content among devices in a communication network. An originating device collects synchronization information related to the presentation of content to a user via the originating device. The synchronization information is defined according to reference points related to the presentation of the content to the user via the originating device, including a current state of the presentation of the content and/or additional information obtained during the presentation of the content. Based on detection of a synchronization event, the originating device transmits the collected synchronization information, resulting in the receipt of the synchronization information by one or more receiving devices. Thereafter, the presentation of the content to the user on one of the receiving devices can incorporate the synchronization information collected and transmitted by the originating device.
