Abstract: A display (1203) displays product information acquired from a server in a scrollable manner. An estimator (1204) estimates whether or not a user has read warning information included in the product information. If it is estimated that the warning information has been read, and an order object included in the product information is operated by the user, a notifier (1205) notifies an electronic shopping mall server (10) of a purchase order by the user for the product related to the product information. The display (1203) displays a first object superimposed onto the product information while it is estimated that the warning information has not been read, and if the first object is operated by the user, the display (1203) scrolls the product information so that the warning information is displayed.

Abstract: In various exemplary embodiments, a system and associated method for prioritizing search results in an electronic environment is disclosed. The system comprises a communications module to receive a search query from a searching party located in a geographic region and a search engine to conduct a search and generate search results. A query engine identifies the geographic region of the searching party and identifies a language associated with the identified geographic region of the searching party based on the identified geographic region of the searching party. The search results are prioritized based on the identified language.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing a platform to provide virtual storefronts to consumers. Environmental elements are associated with specific consumer services on computer server. A user in the environment takes audio or visual recordings of an environmental element and uploads the recordings to the server. The server determines the appropriate consumer service associated with the recorded environmental element and provides the user with a reference to the service. Accordingly, any space, such as a bus stop, subway or train terminal, movie theater, or airport, may be turned into a virtual store.

Abstract: A method for making purchases with a mobile device at a physical location is described. A service provider receives information about an item available for purchase, and this information is projected on a surface. A user in the vicinity of the surface views the projected information and provides input through the user's mobile device. The projected information changes based on the input. The user selects an item for purchase and pays for the selected item through the mobile device.

Abstract: A population activity mapping method may include detecting a plurality of wireless mobile devices within a geographic region. Individual wireless mobile devices may include a processor, a user interface, a transmitter and a receiver. The detecting operation may be performed by use of a wireless access point, a GPS satellite, and/or a base station, and may be performed at least two different points in time. Input data may be provided based upon the detecting operation. A distance and speed at which the mobile devices travel within the geographic region may be discerned dependent upon the input data. The discerning operation is performed by at least one processor of a computer network. A time and/or location at which salable output is to be made available and/or an amount of salable output to be made available may be determined dependent upon the discerning operation.

Abstract: Techniques for product recommendation involve receiving, from a user, a request for recommendation of a product matching one or more characteristics specified in the request. In response to the request, a product may be identified for recommendation, at least in part by searching an ontology in which the identified product is represented as matching at least one of the characteristics specified in the request. The ontology may further include at least one link to at least one natural language product review providing supporting evidence that the identified product matches the at least one characteristic. At least a portion of the at least one natural language product review may be retrieved using the at least one link in the ontology, and presented to the user in support of a recommendation of the identified product, in response to the request.

Abstract: The present disclosure identifies and/or delivers tailored content based upon a service dialog. For example, the systems may receive a request for tailored content, facilitate a service dialog to obtain information related to the request, and communicate a plurality of tailored content based upon the information related to the request. Further, the systems may identify tailored content based upon a consumer profile, communicate the tailored content to a web client, and/or receive a selection of the tailored content. Further still, the systems may modify a magazine (e.g., content that is presented electronically) based upon tailored content.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and products personalize haptic emulations of merchandise. A query regarding an article of merchandise having an associated digital image is made and the digital image is modified based on a personal anatomical image and anthropometrical data associated with a user by personalizing a portion of the digital image to the user, such that a haptic emulation of the article of merchandise is modified in accordance with the anthropometrical data and provided with the modified digital image.

Abstract: The MULTI-SOURCE, MULTI-DIMENSIONAL, CROSS-ENTITY, MULTIMEDIA MERCHANT ANALYTICS DATABASE PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“MDB”) transform data aggregated from various computer resources using MDB components into updated entity profiles and/or social graphs. In one implementation, the MDB aggregates data records including search results, purchase transaction data, service usage data, service enrollment data, and social data. The MDB identifies data field types within the data records and their associated data values. From the data field types and their associated data values, the MDB identifies an entity. The MDB generates correlations of the entity to other entities identifiable from the data field types and their associated data values. The MDB also associates attributes to the entity by drawing inferences related to the entity from the data field types and their associated data values.

Abstract: A rendering constraint is detected for a maximum time between capture of each a plurality of frames of a captured video stream of a consumer and a rendering of each corresponding frame of a consumer representation comprising a rendered three dimensional model rendered to depict a consumer appearance and a movement wearing a particular merchandise item. Processor elements accessible to the at least one computing system are selected that are able to generate the rendered three dimensional model within the time period specified in the rendering constraint. At least one processing task is directed to the selected processor elements to build the consumer representation comprising the three dimensional model and generate a rendering of the three dimensional model wearing the particular merchandise item as the captured video stream is received in real time at the at least one computer system.

Abstract: A system and method for virtually fitting an article of clothing on an accurate representation of a user's body obtained by 3D scanning of the user in minimal clothing and in standard garments of known properties. A graphical user interface allows the user to access a database of garments and accessories available for selection for the virtual fitting simulation for which each garment's physical and material properties are known. A finite element analysis is applied to determine the shape of the combined user body and garment and a an accurate visual representation of the selected garment or accessory on the proportional model of the user's body based on the analysis is generated. Means are also provided for the user to solicit custom garments or accessories from a participating designer or retailer, purchase selected garments or accessories from the participating designer or retailer, and communicate his or her preferences with participating designers, retailers, or other users.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for related search suggestions for products. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a query for searching documents wherein the query specifies a first product. A number of occurrences of the first product in a plurality of prior queries of the documents submitted by users is determined. A product category for the first product is determined based on one or more attributes associated with the first product, the category having a predetermined plurality of category attributes. A suggested product is selected wherein the suggested product is associated with attributes that satisfy the category attributes.
