  • Publication number: 20240085189
Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer readable medium related to determining the position of a device, for example determining the pose of a camera. Varying embodiments discuss the use of sensors and captured images to construct an environment property map, which provides reference information in the form of environment properties that are associated with positions, such as camera poses. Embodiments of the disclosure discuss using the environment property map online (e.g. in real time) in order to determine the position of a device. In some embodiments, the environment property map provides a coarse position that is used to refine or limit the necessary work for determining a more precise position.

  • Patent number: 11925939
Abstract: A method of determining wear of a rotary impact crusher includes adjusting the position of an impact rocker relative to an impact rotor with an actuator by a first adjustment value until a crushing section of the impact rocker contacts an impact bar or an impact circle of the impact rotor. The first adjustment value is compared to a first reference value to make a first comparison corresponding to total wear of the impact rocker and the impact bar. The position of the impact rocker is adjusted relative to the impact rotor by a second adjustment value until the impact rocker contacts a reference measurement section. The second adjustment value is compared to a second reference value to make a comparison corresponding to wear of the impact rocker.

  • Publication number: 20210046535
Abstract: A shaping tool and a method are provided for producing an edge on a part. A first and a second shaping component are moveable from an open position into a shaping position, as a result of which, in a pressing region of the shaping tool, the part, which can be supported on both shaping components while it is moved in the pressing region, can be pressed into a negative mold, formed in the second shaping component, for the edge that is to be produced. A shaping surface of the first shaping component in the pressing region has an allowance element which projects over base surface regions of the shaping surface adjacent to the allowance element, as a result of which the part can be distanced from the second shaping component at least in the shaping position in a sub-region adjacent to the pressing region.

  • Patent number: 10688718
Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of 3D printing, especially in the form of the binder jetting method, in which particulate material in a powder bed is bonded by means of a printed adhesive to form a three-dimensional object. The particulate materials may be inorganic materials, for example sand or a metal powder, or particulate polymeric materials, for example polymethacrylates or polyamides. For this purpose, polymethacrylates may take the form, for example, of suspension polymers, called bead polymers. The present invention relates to the use of porous particles in the binder jetting process, in particular of porous suspension polymers. These powders for 3-D printing differ from the prior art in that the porosity results in a faster and better absorption of the printed binder by the powder particles. A great advantage of this procedure is additionally that a product with less warpage is formed and that the end product has a better surface appearance.
