  • Publication number: 20210378743
Abstract: A catheter system (100) for treating a treatment site (106) within or adjacent to the vessel wall of a blood vessel (108), or the heart valve, includes an energy source (124), a balloon (104), an energy guide (122A), and a balloon integrity protection system (142). The energy source (124) generates energy. The balloon (104) is positionable substantially adjacent to the treatment site (106). The balloon (104) has a balloon wall (130) that defines a balloon interior (146). The balloon (104) is configured to retain a balloon fluid (132) within the balloon interior (146). The energy guide (122A) is configured to receive energy from the energy source (124) and guide the energy into the balloon interior (146) so that plasma is formed in the balloon fluid (132) within the balloon interior (146). The balloon integrity protection system (142) is operatively coupled to the balloon (104).

  • Patent number: 9990388
Abstract: Allocation within a database environment is performed by processing a sequence of steps, each of which is described by an allocation processing block. The allocation processing block receives three inputs (input tables or input view) and computes a result. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Publication number: 20170007810
Abstract: Medical devices and methods are disclosed in the present application. In one illustrative example a medical device may comprise a catheter shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal end and the catheter shaft may include a plurality of catheter shaft lumens extending through at least a portion of the catheter shaft. The device may further include a first balloon member defining a first lumen in fluid communication with a first one of the plurality of catheter shaft lumens and a second balloon member defining a second lumen in fluid communication with a second one of the plurality of catheter shaft lumens. In some embodiments, the second balloon member may be disposed around the first balloon member and comprise a plurality of ports and a first raised portion and a second raised portion.

  • Patent number: 9460130
Abstract: A reallocation processing block including a computing system including one or more data processors receives a base table, a reference table, and at least one assignment path table. Subsequently, rules from the at least one assignment path table are applied to the base table and the reference table by reallocating values between at least two existing data objects. A results table is generated with the reallocated values in the at least two existing data objects. A reallocated value is compared with a threshold value to determine the need for an iteration. At least one of the activities described is implemented using at least one data processor. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 7014871
Abstract: An iodine preparation composition suitable for use on wounds comprising an iodide source, an oxidant and a buffer characterized in that the iodide is held separately from the oxidant until the point of use, and that the buffer is capable of maintaining the pH of the composition at between pH 45 and pH 6 so that iodine is generated at a physiologically acceptable dose rate.
