  • Patent number: 9710776
Abstract: An overlay bag tag is configured to cover an old bag tag that is attached to a bag of a passenger, with the overlay bag tag including an original bag tag number of the old bag tag and an updated bag route. The overlay bag tag is used to reroute the bag according to the updated bag route when there is a change in a passenger route of the passenger after the bag is checked in with the airlines so that the bag travels with the passenger. If the bag cannot travel with the passenger, the system reroutes the bags to the final destination of the passenger.

  • Patent number: 8847052
Abstract: A peg turner for a stringed instrument includes an elongate body portion extending along an axis. The body portion defines first and second opposing ends. A recess is formed in the first end of the body portion, and a tapered peg turner slot is formed in the recess. The tapered peg turner slot includes an opening at the first end of the body portion, sized to accept a tuning peg of a string instrument. Tapered sides extend from the opening along the rotational axis toward the second end of the body portion, tapering inward to form a compressive coupling for turning the selected peg about the axis with the body portion of the peg turner.

  • Publication number: 20110094126
Abstract: The shoe tongue centralizer assembly includes a binding post and a centralizer band which, together prevent the tongue of any type of laced shoe, boot or other footwear from significant movement either laterally or longitudinally in the footwear. The two piece binding post threads together by means of mating male and female threaded shafts. The shaft of the top portion of the binding post passes through a hole in the center of the top portion of the tongue of the particular footwear. The hole can be either manufactured in the shoe tongue or made by any means that provides a hole of adequate dimensions for the binding post shaft to pass thorough. The lower portion of the binding post threads into the top portion in such a manner that the top and bottom surfaces of the binding post are flush with the shoe tongue surfaces.

  • Patent number: 7464920
Abstract: A small booklet binding machine is presented for use in financial institutions to produce onsite, in an economical and expedient fashion, bound booklets for use as checkbooks, loan coupon books, or other forms of small booklets. A user places paper stock to be processed by the machine into an input tray. The user then places backer cards into the machine. The machine automatically advances the paper stock through a pair of rollers, which substantially slit the paper stock into a plurality of checks which are collated in a collector tray. When the machine has advanced and slit all of the paper stock in the input tray, the collector tray rotates to allow a stapler to secure the plurality of checks to the backer cards. The collector tray then rotates to allow a user to remove the bound checks from the machine. Operationally, the machine produces bound checkbooks, or loan coupon books, without user intervention, other than supplying the machine with backer cards.
