  • Patent number: 11996190
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aggregating and sharing wellness data. The wellness data can be received by a user device from any number of sensors external or internal to the user device, from a user manually entering the wellness data, or from other users or entities. The user device can securely store the wellness data on the user device and transmit the wellness data to be stored on a remote database. A user of the device can share some or all of the wellness data with friends, relatives, caregivers, healthcare providers, or the like. The user device can further display a user's wellness data in an aggregated view of different types of wellness data. Wellness data of other users can also be viewed if authorizations from those users have been received.

  • Patent number: 5537330
Abstract: A method within a logic synthesis system provides for using tags attached to the nodes in a parse string generated from an abstract description of a logic design to classify portions of a heterogeneous design as open control, structure dominant, or direct map. The classification is then used to govern the amount of optimization allowed during logic synthesis. The classification is further used to seed or bypass the covering algorithms to produce the technology implementation desired by the designer. Structure dominance is a technique for "seeding" patterns by a designer which best fit the structure to the technology, which implies that the structural representation of the design as entered by the designer dominates the patterns located by the covering algorithm. However, other pattern matching functions are allowed to find better matches, if they exist, and the covering algorithm is allowed the final choice.

  • Patent number: 5438360
Abstract: An improved camera system intended for a machine vision system which produces an image output that is specially adapted to be received by a machine vision system. In one embodiment, the camera system receives components from three portions of the electromagnetic spectrum, these being infrared, visible, and ultraviolet, and then combines these three portions essentially as expanded colors in an expanded version of an RGB "red/green/blue" video system. This provides a better image in all types of weather and visibility conditions. In addition, the camera system includes dynamic range transform logic which selectively compresses the dynamic range of the respective pixel values comprising the image to extract the most useful information from the extended dynamic range of the image. This reduces the amount of information required to be processed while retaining a quality image.
