  • Publication number: 20130208658
Abstract: Management of a call between a calling party that is a mobile terminal in a first cellular network and a called party that is a mobile terminal in a second cellular network is provided by: receiving at an Application Server, AS, of the first cellular network a request to establish a call with the called party from the calling party, the called party being identified in the indication by a circuit-switched identifier; identifying a registration for the called party in the first cellular network using the circuit-switched identifier for the called party, the registration providing a packet-switched identifier for the called party; and setting up a call between the calling party and the called party of the first cellular network by initiating a packet-switched connection from the AS in the first cellular network to the called party in the second cellular network using the packet-switched identifier for the called party.

  • Publication number: 20130024219
Abstract: A method and a device are disclosed including a software or physical admission certificate configured to allow admission of a spectator to a special admission zone with a view to a performance stage for a predefined duration of time. The special admission zone is usable by multiple spectators in multiple successive time periods during the same performance. In various embodiments, the special admission zone is created by partitioning a general admission zone adjacent to the performance stage. In other embodiments, the special admission zone may be constructed as a “catwalk” around the stage to provide elevated viewing. In still other embodiments, the special admission zone may be formed near indoor or outdoor stages. In various embodiments, the admission certificate may be embodied in a computing device such as a smartphone, while in other embodiments the admission certificate may be in the form of a RFID equipped wristband.

  • Publication number: 20120225652
Abstract: There is provided a method in a first communications device operable to communicate with a second device using a network supporting first and second different communication methods. The method comprises: allowing the first device to communicate with the second device using the first communication method; registering the first device on a service platform of the network; requesting from the service platform a second device status indicator of the ability of the second device to communicate using the second communication method; receiving the second device status indicator from the service platform; and, allowing the first device to communicate with the second device using the second communication method in dependence on the received second device status indicator. The second device status indicator depends on the current network connectivity of the second device. At least one of the first and second devices is a mobile telecommunications device.

  • Publication number: 20100296468
Abstract: A device for setting up call switching connections to deliver calls of real time services over a wide area mobile network is described comprising: At least one physical interface for communication with an analog terminal equipment generating incoming calls of real time services; An adapting interface for triggering commands for establishing at least one radio access bearer with a total bit rate of 128 Kbps, for instance, double bearer of 64 Kbps. The adapting interface can be either external to the device and used to connect with a user equipment of the mobile network, or an internal interface of the device constituting a 3G UE which implements the method for establishing these connections in mobile networks for real time services. The method comprises: receiving a call of a real time service from the terminal equipment and triggering commands which contain bearer capability information providing Call Switching connections with 128 Kbps.

  • Publication number: 20070238669
Abstract: The present invention provides novel human glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1)-receptor modulators that have biological activity similar or superior to native GLP-1 peptide and thus are useful for the treatment or prevention of diseases or disorders associated with GLP activity. Further, the present invention provides novel, chemically modified compounds that not only stimulate insulin secretion in type II diabetics, but also produce other beneficial insulinotropic responses. These synthetic peptide GLP-1 receptor modulators exhibit increased stability to proteolytic cleavage making them ideal therapeutic candidates for oral or parenteral administration. The compounds of this invention show desirable pharmacokinetic properties and desirable potency in efficacy models of diabetes.
