    Abstract: Sulphoximide derivatives of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a phenyl, thienyl, furyl or pyridyl ring; R.sub.2 is a thienyl, furyl, or pyridyl ring; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are the same or are different and are alkyl groups containing up to 6 carbon atoms or together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached form a pyrrolidine, piperidine, or morpholine ring; and n is a whole number from 1 to 5; and the pharmaceutically acceptable organic and inorganic acid addition and quaternary ammoniuim salts thereof. The compounds of the invention exhibit anti-bronchospasmolytic activity.
