Abstract: Embodiments provide a software framework for evaluating and troubleshooting real-world task-oriented bot systems. Specifically, the evaluation framework includes a generator that infers dialog acts and entities from bot definitions and generates test cases for the system via model-based paraphrasing. The framework may also include a simulator for task-oriented dialog user simulation that supports both regression testing and end-to-end evaluation. The framework may also include a remediator to analyze and visualize the simulation results, remedy some of the identified issues, and provide actionable suggestions for improving the task-oriented dialog system.

Data output by each data processing module is stored in a data set, the data set includes a plurality of pieces of data, each piece of data carries one index, and the index indicates a data processing module that generates the data. A first data processing module in the plurality of data processing modules may obtain, from the data set, first data carrying a first index, where the first index indicates a data processing module that generates the first data. Processor generates risk scores using predictive models associated with conditions and identifies specialists based on the keywords and the risk scores. Processor selects a subset of the specialists based on a user's preferences associated with gender, age, or language and identifies a specialist match based on a highest satisfaction score or a lowest contractual rate. The specialist match is a specialist included in the subset. Processor establishes a communication session between the member-related client device and a provider client device associated with the specialist match. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Abstract: In implementations for highlight video generated with adaptable multimodal customization, a multimodal detection system tracks activities based on poses and faces of persons depicted in video clips of video content. The system determines a pose highlight score and a face highlight score for each of the video clips that depict at least one person, the highlight scores representing a relative level of the interest in an activity depicted in a video clip. The system also determines pose-based emotion features for each of the video clips. The system can detect actions based on the activities of the persons depicted in the video clips, and detect emotions exhibited by the persons depicted in the video clips. The system can receive input selections of actions and emotions, and filter the video clips based on the selected actions and emotions. The system can then generate a highlight video of ranked and filtered video clips.

Abstract: A near field communication (NFC) reader detects whether NFC devices are passive NFC devices or active NFC devices. The NFC reader outputs an interrogation signal and a carrier signal. When the NFC reader receives a response signal from an NFC device responsive to the interrogation signal, the NFC reader interrupts the carrier signal before the end of the response signal. The NFC reader determines whether the NFC device is a passive NFC device or an active NFC device depending on whether the response signal continues during the interruption of the interrogation signal.

Abstract: Hybrid catalyst suitable for use in a proton exchange membrane fuel cell and method of preparing same. In one embodiment, the hybrid catalyst is iron-free and includes an Mn—N—C support and platinum-containing nanoparticles that are dispersed on the Mn—N—C support. The Mn—N—C support preferably comprises atomically dispersed and nitrogen coordinated MnN4 moieties and has a particle size of about 30 to 200 nm. The platinum-containing nanoparticles preferably have a particle size ranging from about 2 to 8 nm and are made of platinum or a platinum-cobalt intermetallic alloy, such as a cubic L12 Pt3Co alloy or a tetragonal L10 PtCo alloy. The hybrid catalyst may be made by combining a quantity of a hexachloroplatinic acid solution with a quantity of an Mn—N—C support, sonicating the mixture in an ice bath, freeze-drying the sonicated product, calcinating the freeze-dried product under a forming gas, and heating the calcinated product.

Interactions with the dynamically-created advertisement by social networking system users are also associated with the dynamically-created advertisement. The social networking system uses the identification information to present the same combination of values used to generate the dynamically-created advertisement to additional social networking system users. Additionally, information describing interactions with the dynamically-created advertisement is determined from the interactions associated with the identification information, allowing the dynamically-created advertisement to be included in a personalized feed of content items presented to an additional user along with information describing interactions by various users presented with the same combination of values of components in the dynamically-created advertisement.

Abstract: A system and method for automatically adjusting computing resources provisioned for a computer service or application by applying historical resource usage data to a predictive model to generate predictive resource usage. The predictive resource usage is then simulated for various service configurations, determining scaling requirements and resource wastage for each configuration. A cost value is generated based on the scaling requirement and resource wastage, with the cost value for each service configuration used to automatically select a configuration to apply to the service. Alternatively, the method for automatically adjusting computer resources provisioned for a service may include receiving resource usage data of the service, applying it to a linear quadratic regulator (LQR) to find an optimal stationary policy (treating the resource usage data as states and resource-provisioning variables as actions), and providing instructions for configuring the service based on the optimal stationary policy.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to an information sharing method and apparatus. The method includes: sharing, by a first terminal, specified content with a specified sharing user when a preset sharing condition is met, where the sharing condition is at least one of the following factors: a current time of the first terminal is a preset time; a current time of the first terminal falls within a preset time range; a current geographic location of the first terminal is a preset geographic location; or a current geographic location of the first terminal falls within a preset geographic location range. According to the present invention, a sharing condition such as a time or a geographic location is preset, and content is shared with a specified user according to the sharing condition, thereby simplifying complexity of sharing information in a future time period and improving usability of information sharing.
